Professor Meena shares her experiences coming to the UK after an arranged marriage in her youth, facing racism and rising to the top of her profession as Emerita Professor of Medical Genetics at Cardiff University, an honorary Professor of Practice at the UWTDS, an honorary Professor of Genetics at Kochi, India, a visiting Professor at Ganga Ram Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research in Delhi and an international advisor for the organisation of rare diseases, India.
